据俄罗斯媒体报道，美国政府公布的一份文件称，美国将从7月27日开始对570种俄罗斯商品征收35%的进口关税，并公布了加征关税商品的清单。
据报道，加征关税商品清单里包括矿物、木制品、金属等种类商品。据美国政府统计，加征关税商品的进口总额为23亿美元。清单中不包含钯、铂、钛以及部分铸铁和镍产品。据报道，俄罗斯是世界上量多的钯出口国之一，也是美国进口钯的主要来源国。美国官员此前承认，这些制裁措施是精心设置的，目的是让俄罗斯付出代价。
美国贸易代表凯瑟琳·戴在另一份声明中表示，受影响的产品将包括“钢铁和铝；矿物、矿石和金属；化学品；武器和弹药；木制品和纸制品；飞机及零件；和汽车零部件。”
对于钢铁产品，将对美国国际贸易委员会HS编码72052900下的某些粉末、编码72044900下的某些黑色金属废料和废料、7300子编码下的各种管材以及72071200和72249000编码下的部分半成品征收35%的关税.
对于铝制品，几种类型的棒材、棒材、线材、板材、薄板和带材将被征收35%的关税。
关税上调也适用于一些铁合金，如锰铁和硅铁。
